Adjectives a 2 uscite have 2 different forms.
These are the most common endings to all the adjectives of this group: - -E
(for singular masculine and feminine)
- -I
(for plural masculine and feminine)
Adjectives a 2 uscite take the genere (masculine or feminine) and the
numero (singular or plural) from the noun they are referred to.
Examples:
"
Marco (singular masculine) ---> Marco è intelligent-E (singular masculine).
"
"
Lucia (singular feminine) ---> Lucia è intelligent-E (singular feminine).
"
"
Marco e Antonio (plural masculine) ---> Marco e Antonio sono intelligent-I (plural masculine).
"
"
Lucia e Sandra (plural feminine) ---> Lucia e Sandra sono intelligent-I (plural feminine).
"
Attention:
If an adjective is at the same time referred to a masculine and a feminine noun it takes the plural masculine form.
Example: "
Marco (singular masculine) + Lucia (singular feminine) ---> Marco e Lucia sono intelligent-I (plural masculine).
