NUMERAL ADJECTIVES

The numeral adjectives always indicate an exact measure.

There are two different kinds of numeral adjectives:

• Cardinal adjectives  (indicate the exact mathematical numerical quantity)

  Example:
  "Marco ha raccolto sette mele."

• Ordinal adjectives  (indicate the position of a person or an object inside a succession)

  Example:
  "Era la terza volta che vedevo quel film."

Note:
This group of adjectives, differently from the others has an indefinite number of forms.
