The reflexive pronouns are personal pronouns without the accent (unstressed) and have the
function to introduce particular verbs.
Examples:

Io mi lavo.
"

Noi ci salutiamo.
"
Note:
In these two examples we can see an action that comes directly back on the subject that does the action
(mi lavo) or that develops reciprocally between two or more subjects (ci laviamo).
The verbs of the examples are called reflexive and are introduced by a particular group of pronouns.
