The subjunctive form is the mode of opinion and uncertainty.
In fact, it is mainly used when the verb in the main clause introduces sentiment, opinion, doubt, willingness, orders or to tell unsure, unconfirmed things.

"
The subjunctive mode has 4 different tenses: - congiuntivo presente
(Present Subjunctive, simple tense)
- congiuntivo passato
(Present Perfect Subjunctive, compound tense)
- congiuntivo imperfetto
(Imperfect Subjunctive, simple tense)
- congiuntivo trapassato
(Pluperfect Subjunctive, compound tense)
