REGULAR VERBS

Regular verbs are verb which have standard behavior.
The forms of this verb always change in the same manner.

Regular verbs are divided into three families:

• ARE  (it is the most numerous family)

  Example:
  "Parlare, amare, cantare, volare."

• ERE

  Example:
  "Temere."

• IRE

  Example:
  "Dormire."

Regular verbs are conjugated in this way:

• simple verbs  (verb root + verb ending)

  Example:
  "Io parl-O con Marco."

• compound verbs  (auxiliary verb + past participle of the verb)

  Example:
  "Io ho parlato con Marco."

Attention:
To find the root of the verb, the last three letters are eliminated (-ARE, -ERE o -IRE).
To form the past participle, the verb ending -ATO, UTO, ITO is used in place of -ARE, -ERE or -IRE.
