CONTEMPORANEITY RELATIONYou are here: syntax > period > concordance > time_relations > contemporaneity Inside a dependent clause, the time expressed by an action that happens in the same moment of the action of the main clause is called contemporaneous and the time relation between the main clause and the dependent clause is called relation of contemporaneity.
To express this relation we can find different times, because the time of the verb of the dependent clause is determined in relation to the verb of the main clause.
