USE OF THE PRESENT GERUNDIVE

The present gerundive is used to build clauses with an implicit form contemporary to the supporting clause.

Example:
" Andando a casa saluto Maria. "
In this example the action of 'andare', expressed with the present gerundive, happens in the same moment of the action of 'salutare' of the supporting clause.
